Dearly Beloved,
“The time is fulfilled, and the Kingdom of God is at hand!”
(Mark 1:15).
We have come to the time of the end as the Lord is preparing to
fulfill all the prophecies and wind up all things. The above
words were spoken by Jesus Christ; Peter, on the Day of
Pentecost spoke of these last days as the “times of restitution
of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his
holy prophets since the world began” (Acts 3:21).
Apostle Peter warned us, “Seeing then that all these things
shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all
holy conversation and godliness, looking for and hasting unto
the coming of the day of God… Be diligent that ye may be found
in him in peace, without spot, and blameless” (2 Peter
3:11-12,14).
I believe that we must strive after holiness more than we ever
have before. The day has come when wickedness and sin has been
found in the House of the Lord, and many preachers cannot preach
against sin because their own lives are not pure before God. So
we preach a “watered-down” Gospel. We hear few messages on hell,
the power of the Blood of Jesus, and sin. The Christians live
like the world, and though they claim to have “come out of
Egypt,” Egypt has not come out of them. Paul, speaking to the
philosophers on Mars Hill, Athens said, “God overlooks it as
long as you don’t know any better — but that time is past. The
unknown is now known, and he’s calling for a radical
life-change. He has set a day when the entire human race will be
judged and everything set right. And he has already appointed
the judge, confirming him before everyone by raising him from
the dead.” (Acts 17: 30-31, The Message).
PLEASE FORGIVE ME! I have not written a November-December letter
to all you dear friends. I have been so very busy. But I know
that you intercessors who receive the bi-weekly Prayer Letter
have been kept alert and up to date to all that the Lord has
been doing in our lives these last months of 2007.
BERLIN: We ministered in Berlin, Germany for over two weeks. God
was very present in all the meetings. The love for Germany,
where I have spent much time in the past, and where I even
pastored a church for a while, has never left my heart. It is
true that “The gifts and calling of God are without repentance”
(Romans 11:29 KJV). The Message Bible puts it very clearly,
“God’s gifts and God’s call are under full warranty — never
canceled, never recinded.” They become a part of you!
CANADA AND NIAGARA FALLS: We returned home and hastened to fly
to Buffalo, NY, where we rented a car and drove to Ottawa,
Canada, ministered there, and drove on to Quebec City.
Ministering in Quebec City was a life-long dream come true. From
there we drove to Toronto for ministry with Majid El Shafi, in a
conference held at the Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship,
then on to Hamilton for a wonderful Sunday with the Free
Believers Church which is a Filippino Fellowship. From Toronto
we went to Rainbow House of Prayer in Niagara Falls, NY, where
we celebrated Thanksgiving with Don and Joyce Perdue. It was a
joy to see many of our friends of past years and meet many new
friends.
ARGENTINA: We had only a couple of days at Engeltal to pack for
Argentina where we spent two wonderful weeks. Linda Hartzell
flew in from Hong Kong to organize everything for our coming.
The first day after our arrival they celebrated my sixty years
of missionary ministry, (I landed in Shanghai, China in 1947).
God has done so much in these sixty years. What an honour to
serve Him all these many years in the nations of the world! My
first visit to Argentina was in 1966. It was a great joy to my
heart to see how God has blessed the seed I planted so long ago
in that beautiful land. I preached in many different churches,
one of them, they told me, has 9,000 members. I enjoyed
ministering at the Kingsway Fellowship Convention with the
Doorns. I also ministered at Youth With A Mission, I felt such
oneness in the Spirit with them.
I had a great team with me, Linda interpreted and Tommy, my son,
sang and preached when I had more than one meeting on the same
day. My grand-nephew, Benjamin, played the trumpet with a true
Phil Driscoll anointing! Bert Crevier testified about his
heavenly visits and Pamela was our intercessor and prophetess.
Last, but not least, Doreen has been my “armour bearer” through
this entire year. I could not travel like this if she was not at
my side every moment to help me. God put it all together and it
was wonderful.
WINTER YOUTH RETREAT: This was my first Christmas without Jim.
We all missed him, but your prayers held me up. The day after
Christmas I had surgery for a cataract in my right eye and I am
recovering well. The Anointed Youth Winter Retreat was held from
Dec 28 until New Year’s Eve. God came down mightily. Our young
people are becoming powerful preachers of the Word, and we were
deeply moved by
the testimony and sharing of Sgt. Roger Sprinkle, who testified
to God’s all-powerful saving grace during his time as a soldier
on the front lines in the Vietnam War. He told us of how he came
face-to-face with the powerful demon Ashtoreth, who is
destroying so many lives. On the closing night I preached one of
the hardest, most difficult messages of my life, warning the
young people not to allow this demon to destroy their lives. I
CANNOT EMPHASISE STRONGLY ENOUGH HOW IMPORTANT IT IS THAT YOU
ORDER THESE THREE MESSAGES (on four CDs), and listen to them
carefully. It will answer a lot of questions in your heart.
GOD TV: Christmas Eve, after our dinner we watched God TV air
one of our meetings from the End-Time Handmaidens and Servants
All Nations Convention in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. My message
was: The Nations Are Our Gem Stones, this program was broadcast
worldwide. If you saw it, and were blessed by it, write and tell
Rory and Wendy Alec and send a gift to help with their ministry.
Their address is: God TV USA, PO Box 161329, Altamonte Springs,
FL 32716.
THANK YOU! Your love offerings have been a great help to us. We
have had some heavy expenses this year, and depend on God to
meet our need through you! Be faithful. God is counting on you!
And we are too! God will bless and multiply the seed you have
sown! Remember, your prayers give us strength!
STOP PRESS: Due to an unexpected Holy Ghost interruption, I have
had to change my dates for Blue Mountain this year to June
13-15, from a week earlier, as I have received an urgent call to
minister in Jerusalem, Israel with Sadhu Sundar Selveraj, Paul
Keith Davis, Bobby Conner, Neville Johnson and Steven Shelley. I
feel the urgency of the Spirit very strongly that not only I,
but as many of you End-Time Handmaidens and Servants that can
come, should be there for this appointment with God. The dates
are: June 6-10, 2008, (Shavuot/Pentecost is June 9!). The Sadhu
feels that there should be an optional tour from June 11-15,
2008. Since we are having our Blue Mountain Retreat at that
time, we are praying about and looking into having a tour before
the conference. If you are interested, please let us know and we
will give you the details as they develop. You can go just for
the conference or the tour and conference. Contact: Sharon or
Rona at (870) 446-2252.
